THE FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS APHC DELEGATION

          Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi received today a delegation of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference.  The delegation led by Mr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Executive Director, Kashmir American Council, Washington included Syed Yusuf Naseem, Mr. Ghulam Safi, Mr. Rafiq Dar and Mr. Nazir Quraishi.

          The Kashmiri leaders apprised the Foreign Minister of their concern on the recent unrest and violence and the use of force in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

          The Foreign Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmir cause and stressed the need to associate the people of Kashmir with the peace process.

          Fateha was offered for Shaheed Shaikh Abdul Aziz and other Kashmiris who had been martyred in the recent protests and violence in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.
